Easy Corn Relish Dip

This corn relish dip is super delicious and very easy to whip up quickly. It is perfect on a platter of food alongside some chips or crackers.

Corn Relish Dip

This dip is undoubtedly a winner whenever I have made it for a party. It is super easy to do and tastes a lot better than the dip you can buy at the supermarket.

If you’re running low on time, then you will be glad to hear that this is super easy to whip up quickly. You certainly will not be spending hours preparing this one.

How to Serve this Tasty Dip

This corn relish dip is obviously best as a dip, but you can also use it for other things such as a spread on a sandwich. It’s totally up to you, but I always have it as a dip with some crackers, carrot sticks, or even celery sticks.

As I mentioned above, there are plenty of foods that are great for dipping. Savory crackers are always my favorite, but corn chips are also pretty good. Carrot or celery sticks are the best options if you’re trying to be healthier.

A Quick Couple of Tips

You will want to use a smooth corn relish for the best result as a chunky relish will not mix very well into the cream cheese. There are quite a few brands that have the consistency that you will need. You can pick up the same type that I use over at Amazon.

Any brand of cream cheese will work just fine. However, I tend to buy the more expensive varieties for dips as you rely on the flavor and texture a lot more than some other dishes.

I like to keep things simple, so I avoid adding too many ingredients into a dip. With that said, you can add some additional ingredients such as crispy bacon or chopped chives. There is quite a wide variety of foods you’re able to add.

Recipe Tips

  • This dip goes fantastic with the usual crackers, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or even chips. If you want, you can follow our homemade tortilla chips recipe and make your own chips.
  • You should find that this dip will last for a week covered in the refrigerator. It is possible to last longer, but I would give it a maximum of a week.
  • If you find the dip a bit too rich with just cream cheese, then add a tablespoon or two of sour cream or cream.
  • Getting the cream cheese to room temperature is pretty important as it will help ensure the dip will blend correctly. If the cream cheese is too cold, then you can warm it slightly in the microwave for a few seconds.
  • If you’re looking for another dip to go with alongside this one, then be sure to check out our easy French onion dip recipe.
  • You will notice the difference between good quality and bad quality cream cheese. If possible, try and find the best cream cheese you can get (If it doesn’t cost too much).
  • If you don’t have any cream cheese, then you can substitute it with sour cream.

Hi Marilyn, I think that will work. The dip will be runnier, but should still be delicious.

      Hi Richard,

You can, but the flavors might be a bit strange. Certainly a combination that is worth testing.
